If you’re still getting baited by Pat Leonard in the year 2026, that’s a you problem. That is a sick man.

Santi Aldama is one of my favorite fits for Brooklyn this offseason. Continue to get bigger with high feel, versatile players. Aldama + Isaiah Hartenstein would do a lot for this frontcourt if the Nets were ever able to pry them away and find a suitor for Nic Claxton.

Santi Aldama is a must get for me this offseason Playing time blocked by Coward + Boozer + Edey 7 foot with wing / ball handling skills, flashes of shooting with volume You're getting 6-7 boards from a non C Scoring rising each year Still 25 years old Two years left at 17M per, second year is a team option Fits perfectly with Jordi's vision

How can you say this? He’s the only one on the entire beat that keeps it honest. Almost every writer on that beat sugarcoats everything and dishes out these gross, fake optimistic takes because it generates the most likes and clicks among the fanbase. It’s every single year, Pat Leonard is the only one that keeps things honest and down to Earth in his pieces.

The Brooklyn Nets should be actively looking for a new general manager. Sean Marks had his chance and blew it. He’s been here far too long with zero success. We can’t afford to let him botch the 6th pick. Need to hit on this draft & free agency period. Critical offseason ahead.

@BillyReinhardt So much of what future success looks like is built around Demin now… 🤞🏼

Nets fans, how would you feel if this was Brooklyn’s starting five to open next season? Egor Dëmin Austin Reaves Michael Porter Jr. Lu Dort Aday Mara That’s a group that could contend for play-in spot, in my opinion. Mara is an intriguing fit that would continue the Nets theme of targeting high feel players with great positional size. With Dëmin at guard and Mara at center, Brooklyn would be building an identity of being a huge team with high feel.

I don’t know what people’s beef is with Jadarian Price. He was a highly-recruited player (4-Stars; 93 Prospect Grade). He was efficient (career 6.0 YPC; 5.8+ YPC every season; career 10.8 YPR). He was excellent after-contact (career 4.28 YAC/attempt; 3.92+ YAC/attempt every season). He broke tackles at a high-rate (career .259 MTF/attempt). He had a 45%+ breakaway percentage every season. He was also electric on kick returns (36.1 yards/return & 3 TD’s on 22 career kick returns). He’s going to be a RD2 NFL Draft pick (currently 46th overall on Mock Draft Database). Idk… seems good!

The kids are finally down. House is quiet. Wife's asleep. And you're sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing useful, and you know it, and you're doing it anyway. Not because you're not tired. You're exhausted. But this is the first hour all day where nobody needs you to do anything or find anything or explain why we don't eat ice cream before dinner. So you just... sit in it. Stretch it out. One more episode. Ten more minutes of scrolling through things you won't remember tomorrow. You've done this probably a thousand times and it has never once made you feel better. You wake up groggy, already behind, already at a seven before anything's even gone wrong. The patience you needed to bank last night got traded for two hours of half-asleep YouTube. And the version of you your kids get the next morning is the taxed one, the flat one, the one who snaps over something small and then feels bad about it while making their lunch. What's actually happening is you're confusing rest with reclaiming something. Like if you stay up long enough you'll eventually feel like a full person again instead of just a guy who works and parents and goes to bed and does it again. But that feeling never really comes. There's no amount of late-night nothing that actually fills it back up. You know this. You do it anyway. The only thing that actually helps is sleep, which is such a boring answer that you resist it every single night. So try this. Around ten o'clock, ask yourself whether what you're doing is actually recharging you or whether you're just putting off going to bed because going to bed means tomorrow starts sooner. Most nights it's the second one. Close the phone. Go to sleep. The morning will be different. Not perfect. Just different. That's worth something.
