There has to be a clear distinction between a stock that is "exhausting" after a prior uptrend and one that is "consolidating" to build a fresh base for continuation. Entering trades during exhaustion (when momentum is fading and distribution may be underway) often leads to poor entries and losses. In contrast, identifying genuine accumulation phases (where price is stabilizing and preparing for the next move) positions you for higher-probability trades and better risk-reward outcomes.

@ItsVinay01 I was actually able to enter some good setups at good entry points but never booked profit even after seeing a 8-10% gain. My learning is, in this type of market, do not expect anything beyond 10%. If you are getting let's say a 5% gain, just book the profit.
