@krassenstein If people are asking questions it is a direct result of the political climate that has been propagated and espoused by both parties. Their rhetoric and behaviour causes reasonable people to wonder what the eff is going on. It’s not pathetic. It’s a gut reaction.

If you are claiming that the "Deep State shot Trump," you are irresponsible. If you are claiming that Women secret Service agents were the problem, you are irresponsible and sexist. If you are claiming the shooting was staged, you are irresponsible and pathetic. If you are claiming that Democrats caused this, you are irresponsible and divisive. If you are claiming this was Biden's fault, you are irresponsible and partisan. It has barely been a day since this tragedy happened. Playing the uniformed blame game will only foment more violence and hatred towards groups of people who had nothing to do with this.

The two officers on the roof need to be investigated. The one laying down had a shot lined up but didn’t take it before the shooter successfully fired 8 SHOTS. This lack of action led to a dead Trump supporter and the former President getting shot as well as two attendees getting critically injured.

If you think that Trump was shot at because the Secret Service employs women, then you are a misogynist. PERIOD. The Secret Service messed up, but to blame it on agents being female is just absurd.

I have confirmed that Thomas Crooks was a Registered Republican. The 20-year-old attempted-assassin was not a Democrat (at least not according to his voter registration records). People need to stop jumping to conclusion before the facts are out there. There is no evidence that this assassin was a "leftist". There is no evidence that the "Deep State" was behind this. If the "Deep State" wanted to remove someone they wouldn't hire a 20-year-old with little firearms training and give him an AR-15. Stop blaming Democrats for this. This isn't about Democrat or Republican. It's about a bad person doing a really bad thing. This guy was likely just some lone-wolf nut-job who hated his life and thought this was his best way of going out.

@RodKahx It was my honest first take on seeing the photos. Nothing about it makes sense from a purely logical pov. I hate that we’ve become this and I blame Trump and his capacity to lie and stoke hysteria.

The idea that this assassination attempt was the CIA, "Deep State" or Democrat cabal is absurd. If the government wanted someone gone, they certainly wouldn't use an AR-style rifle on the top of building 150 yards away. In all likelihood it was a lone-wolf incident by a nut job who hated Trump. To blame anyone else at this point in time is irresponsible, dangerous, and wrong.

@EdKrassen There is no way a sniper got into that position. The SS would have cleared those roofs. And a real sniper would not have missed.

The shooter, being explained as a sniper, was on a roof reportedly several hundred yards away from Trump. My question is how could the Secret Service not have checked this rooftop? How couldn't they have been aware of his existence on the roof?

@girlsreallyrule His collar is spotless. The blood sprayed to the front of his face suggesting a shot from behind him. The “shooter” pulled out of the crowd was in front of him. Something is definitely amiss.
