A few in-progress shots of the Obama Presidential Center, taken this morning. The granite exterior is now in place, including words from Obama’s “You Are America” speech, visible in their entirety from a spot on Stony Island Avenue. The center’s plaza is also taking shape.

Unreal transformation of The Gulch into Centennial Yards in downtown Atlanta. Gonna alter game days for Falcons, Hawks for sure. Plus a 5,300-seat Live Nation concert venue and newest Cosm

@RobertLutherFL Yes, but it was almost all international migration. Florida had more deaths than births, and domestic migration was only 22,517. So 178,674 of the 196,680 was international migration.

Architecture is public art, and thus, a moral act. It’s not like hanging a painting in your private bedroom. To shape a city with power and elegance is to uplift souls. Governments should always prioritize civic beauty and art over braindead, performative identity policies.

Unbeatable city building and tourism strategy: Create beautiful architecture, develop a strong cafe culture, and plant tree lined streets everywhere

Paris makes 300 school streets traffic free. This is so obviously beneficial BUT POSSIBLE BECAUSE PARIS already has dense, walkable urbanism US cities will struggling with massive quality of life improvements like this as long as they prioritize low-density, car-oriented development

Financial Times: Paris school streets are raising the global bar for children’s wellbeing - More than 300 streets in the French capital have been redesigned to be traffic free. The welcome sense of calm is not going unnoticed ft.com/content/4451e1…

I recently visited Little Rock for the first time. I liked some of the historic buildings, the water front park, historic neighborhoods… But I have to ask, why in so many downtowns across America is the downtown, that should be the densest area, always feels so empty?

@DanielTurnerPTF My last washer lasted 5 years. I paid $1200 for it. The one before that lasted 18 years and I paid $260 for it. I wish I could get a regular washing machine without all the components just a plain Jane machine that will wash my clothes.

I’m on my 3rd vacuum in 10 years. They all break. Even the $500 Dyson. My mother has the same vacuum since 1972. Was made in Ohio. Probably by a WWII vet. It’s steel. Weighs 30lbs. Hasn’t broken once. Sucks dust thru the walls. I miss good appliances made in America. 🇺🇸

If it were up to me, I wouldn't post several photos a day as it waters down the quality of the photos on a day to day basis. I have mayyyyybe 30-50 pictures that i really love. Now if this were more travel oriented then i wouldn't mind so much. The problem is, to get any of our work seen we have to post at least once a day for the algo gods to bless you with any views.
