Wrong accusation that I am talking on the phone. Camera is clearly mounted on the windscreen and my hands are on the steering wheel. I can show you endless TV programmes where anchors talk to camera in the car. All auto journos do it. You are saying you will single me out?

One shouldn't speak ill of a deceased person. Sorry, But ever since Rishi ji passed away, the Kapoor family has been filled with a different kind of enthusiasm and excitement.
Neetu ji is roaming around like a Barbie girl at the age of 67 And her daughter Riddhima is also about to make her acting debut. Her movie is releasing on 8th May.
I had never seen so much happiness on their faces before. It seemed Rishi ji had kept everyone confined to the house, like the grumpy uncle in a Hindi serial.
Perhaps that is why Ranbir Kapoor lived in a different house, away from his father!!!

Her (West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee) frustration is obvious because her goons were not able to have a free hand this time. Since 2011 onwards, till today, the elections have been controlled by TMC goons. After 11 a.m., all the booths were taken over by them, these goons, and they used to control. Now this time they failed and that's the frustration and fear of Mamta...This time, the Police had discharged their basic obligation and probably they got the courage since the central force was over there. Let me say so categorically. Regardless of the result, the erasure of voters is the most pressing issue for me and the logical discrepancy used by EC is an Orwellian feature being tested for future use in a dystopian democracy to select voters.

To my mind, this Bengal election is a litmus test of whether we have fallen below the minimum threshold of electoral integrity, whether electoral democracy has any future at all. I cannot get into numbers, but all the credible information that I have been able to gather so far points to a comfortable lead for the TMC, more than enough to make up for the SIR damage. If despite this the ECI manages to conjure a victory for BJP, this has to be the result of an electoral fraud. Such an (unlikely, despite what exit polls say) event must get the entire opposition to come together and ask if there is any point of contesting any more elections under these circumstances. — Yogendra Yadav

Whether it is India, England, or Australia, every major cricket-playing country has Muslim cricketers in their national teams, even though they are minorities in those countries. Muslim players also participate in leagues like the IPL.
But in Pakistan, where there are around 4 million Hindu minorities, why is there not even a single Hindu cricketer in the Pakistan's national team or the PSL?

Sunday musing: A friend raises a good point: why do we need 4 days @ECISVEEP after final voting for counting to begin? Think about Kerala and Assam: EVMs have been kept in strong rooms for almost 4 weeks. Doesn’t happen in any other part of the world.
