The math isn't "mathing"✍️📓 18% of global population. 4% of global freshwater. We have officially moved past the "academic concept" phase. Water budgeting is now a national necessity. The logic is simple: Just as you wouldn't spend money without checking your bank balance, we can no longer use water without a budget. We are shifting from "Saving Water" to "Water Precision". #WorldWaterDay #waterbudgeting
Tata Trusts@tatatrusts

You wouldn’t start a long drive without checking how much fuel you have and hope it lasts the entire journey. Water works the same way. Water security needs planning and understanding our needs in a more holistic way. In many communities across India, the shift is already underway, where water is no longer taken for granted, but accounted for—so join us as we take you through #WaterWeBudgeting and how we ensure water is accessible to all.

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when a woman realizes her hands can do more than just toil, they can create, lead, and transform. Today, we aren't just opening the doors to a new store; we are opening a gateway for hundreds of rural artisans to step into the heart of the city. We are thrilled to announce the inauguration of the newest @KatoriFoods outlet at Ambience Mall, Gurugram. ♀️🥣 For the women of our micro-enterprises, Katori is not just a label on a product. It is the first time many of them have seen their hard work recognized by name. Every product on these shelves carries the whispers of rural heartlands, the strength of a collective, and the spirit of a woman who has found her voice. This milestone was made possible through the unwavering support of Jhajjar Power Limited, whose commitment to social responsibility through 'Udyogini' has been a cornerstone of this journey. The store was inaugurated in the kind presence of Mr. Rajeev Rao (General Manager HR and Admin), Mr. Manbar Bhandari (Deputy Manager CSR) and Mr. Raj Ratna Jha (Civil Consultant CSR) Visit Katori at Ambience Mall to celebrate the spirit of rural India. #ManjariFoundation #SocialImpact #WomenEmpowerment

In many villages, water has shaped daily life. But change begins when this everyday reality becomes a shared conversation. On World Water Day, Jal Mela created a space for communities to engage directly with their own water realities, understanding not just the challenges, but how solutions take shape over time. By bringing different aspects of water management into one place — the village’s water situation, solutions in action, and pathways for support, the mela made the journey from problem to progress visible and actionable. Through such spaces, communities are shaping their way of #WaterWeBudgeting, where water is not just managed day-to-day, but planned and secured for the future, making it a conversation owned by everyone. Jal Mela reflects a larger shift, where managing water is no longer individual, but collective. @JanPedo @cmfraj @PRADAN_India @sevamandir @fesforcommons @manjari_org

Here, Manjari and DS Group are sowing seeds of agency within the hearts of more than 540 rural entrepreneurs. Through the Entrepreneurship Development Program, the mundane is made magnificent. If Day 1 was about finding our feet, Day 2 at Kesla was about finding our "𝗪𝗵𝘆 and strengthening our"𝗛𝗼𝘄." We didn't just discuss community work, we dissected it layer by layer. Our team members spent the morning in a deep-dive exercise focused on Dealing with Communities. Using a "𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘃𝘀. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲" lens, we looked at the real-world barriers our communities face limitations, mindsets, and apprehensions. But at MANJARI FOUNDATION, we aren't just observers, we are catalysts. Our goal is to shift that needle toward a future where every community is Empowered, Resilient, Self-Reliant, and Inclusive. The room got filled with energy as we welcomed Dr. Virendra Singh, a renowned expert on Gender Rights. Through a powerful, data-backed session, Dr. Singh stripped away the surface to show us the numerical reality of gender inequality in India. It was a stark reminder that while we have come far, equality is still a distant dream for many. It wasn't just a lecture, it was a call to action to integrate gender-intentionality into everything we do. To balance the weight of these deep reflections, we leaned into Collaboration vs. Co-operation. We realized that while co-operation is temporary support, collaboration is the magic that happens when people who are "completely different" work toward one singular goal. We wrapped up the day in our dancing shoes. From soulful shayris to high-energy dance and singing, the cultural night proved that the Manjari family is as talented on the stage as they are in the field. 🥳✨ #ManjariFoundation #Retreat2026 #KeslaDiaries #ImpactThatMatters

The true spirit of the Republic isn't just in the patriotic movies we see on TV, it is in the quiet, dusty corners of our villages where real change is happening. 🇮🇳 Seeing our didis stand tall to hoist the Tiranga is a reminder of why we do what we do. For many of these women, this isn't just a flag, it is a symbol of their growing independence, their right to lead, and their place in India’s story. From Dholpur, Udaipur, Noorabad and Chittorgarh to Jhajjar, Pantnagar, Dariba and Bhilwada, the air was thick with pride and patriotism. Happy 77th Republic Day from all of us at Manjari Foundation! 🇮🇳🫡 #RepublicDay #RuralIndia #WomenEmpowerment #ManjariFoundation

When women lead, the entire economy shifts. 🌾 For years, the statistics told one story: despite making up half the population, only a quarter of women were part of the formal economy. Social barriers and limited access to markets kept incredible potential on the sidelines. But a new story is being written. From every corner of rural India, we are seeing the rise of a powerful force!💪♀️ #ManjariFoundation #NirmateeWorkshop #RuralIndia #WomenEmpowerment

We @manjari_org would like to thank you for the past and looking forward support in #HappyNewYear2026 !
Manjari Foundation@manjari_org

As the sun rises on 2026, we at @manjari_org find ourselves looking back with deep gratitude.🙏🏼✨️ Our mission to empower rural women reached new heights this year. We are thrilled to share that we expanded our footprint, bringing our community-led models to Haryana. Each new location added in our map represents a new chapter of hope, leadership, and economic independence for the women of rural India. Another highlight of 2025 was hosting our first-ever "Nirmatee Workshop." This initiative was more than just a training session; it was a celebration of creativity and craft. Watching our didis hone their skills and find their voices through this workshop has been a proud moment. 2025 was not without its hurdles. Like the communities we work with, we faced our share of "ups and downs." However, it is often in the "lows" that we see the true strength of our collectives. As we today step into the New Year, our resolve is stronger than ever. We carry the lessons of the past twelve months with us using the highs as fuel and the lows as teachers. To our partners, supporters, and most importantly, the incredible women of Manjari: Thank you for being part of this journey. Wishing you all a Happy, Prosperous, and Empowering New Year! #ManjariFoundation #HappyNewYear

In continuation of our robust people-to-people learning exchange program, a 12-day field visit to Mali, West Africa, concluded on October 2, 2025. The delegation’s mission was to explore natural farming practices in Mali and evaluate how India’s expertise could enhance climate resilience, food security, and economic returns per hectare for Malian farmers. Hosted by Mr. Mohammed Soumare, National Coordinator of Agroecology, Projet d’Appui à l’Extension des Systèmes Organiques Locaux (PAESOL), under the Department of National Agriculture (DNA), Government of Mali, and in partnership with Centre d’Appui à la Microfinance et au Développement (CAMIDE), the delegation visited demonstration plots in Gaima (Commune Liberté Dembaya), Marintoro, and Mussawagiya (Commune Logo, Kayes). These sites showcased natural farming techniques implemented under the PAESOL initiative. Engaging discussions with regional coordinators and the National Director of DNA highlighted challenges, including food insecurity and excessive chemical use in agriculture. The Malian team expressed keen interest in scaling natural farming to address these issues, seeking guidance from the Indian delegation. The delegation also visited the Institut Polytechnique Rural de Formation et de Recherche Appliquée (IPR/IFRA) in Katibougou, Koulikoro, a pivotal institution training approximately 4,000 students from 11 West African countries in agricultural extension, research, agronomy, and related fields. Meetings with the institute’s director and scientists underscored its regional significance. A productive interaction with His Excellency Mr. Nand Kumar, Indian Ambassador to Mali, highlighted India’s developmental support for Mali. He commended the people-to-people initiative and pledged ongoing assistance and guidance. The visit culminated in a three-day practical workshop on natural farming, featuring hands-on training in preparing Jeevamrit, Beejamrit, and Neem Astra using locally available inputs. Participants included women farmers, technical experts, community resource persons, national and regional coordinators, project leads, and professors from across Mali, fostering inclusive knowledge exchange. The Indian delegation comprised of: Mr. Ravindra, Executive Director, Watershed Support Services and Activities Network (WASSAN), Hyderabad Mr. Sandeep, WASSAN Mr. Khadirvalli, Progressive Farmer and Veteran Community Resource Person Mr. Walter, German Scientist, International Centre for Natural Farming (IGGAREL), India Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director, Manjari Foundation, India We extend our gratitude to our Malian hosts, including Mr. Mohammed Soumare, Mr. Stefano (PAESOL scientist), Mr. Alou Keita, Mr. Diawara (CAMIDE), Mr. Ramadan, and their teams, for their exceptional hospitality and coordination. This visit marks another milestone in sharing Indian expertise globally, fostering resilient villages and economically empowered women farmers in Mali. #ManjariFoundation #people2peopleLearning #IndoAfrica #IndieMali @CamideDvlpment @MaliEmbIndia @UEauMali @AlouKei36751259 @NNandakumar07 @MalibuInvest @aesanjay

From Humble Beginnings to Prosperity💫🐐 Meet Mohini Didi, an embodiment of determination and hard work. Her journey from owning just one goat to a thriving flock of over 50 is a testament to the power of small beginnings and big dreams. It all started with a small loan from an SHG, which enabled her to purchase a goat. She was willing to reinvest her earnings and gradually built her goat-rearing business. Today, she proudly earns ₹7,000 every month from goat rearing. Her story serves as an example that even the smallest start can lead to big achievements – all you need is the courage to take that first step. 💪👣
