@Samwinton99 @CraigTrudgill There were 4 seconds between the incident and the ref blowing for a penalty. Would love to know how linesman communicated what had happened and ref decided to blow up in that short time.

@CraigTrudgill To add to this, you may feel that the process is wrong and adds confusion. That is a completely valid viewpoint. However the process was absolutely in line with the guidance which is issued to the officials so it is incorrect to say they did something they were not meant to do

How can you decide its not a penalty, let play on for a bit then change your mind and think “ahh fuck it let’s give a pen” it’s so fucking weird
