Rabbi, stay in your lane. Not a single exegete ever understood this verse to imply perpetual rights of the Holy Land to the Children of Israel. Rather, Muslims actually and genuinely believe that God did grant the real Children of Israel who followed Moses to enter the Hold Land and to reign over it, but only as long as they maintained their Covenant with God. When the Children of Israel broke their Covenant, multiple times, and in egregious ways, as documented in the Old and New Testament, and in the Quran, God lifted from them that conditional promise and annulled their status. Hence, neither are today's Children of Israel God's Chosen People, nor is the Holy Land theirs to claim. We believe Moses himself made this proclamation, "Moses reassured his people: 'Seek God's help and be patient. Indeed, the land belongs to God alone, and He grants it to whoever He chooses of His servants. And the ultimate outcome belongs to the righteous.'” [Quran 7:128]. The Hold Land belongs to the righteous. And any people who reject the prophets of God, break His Covenant, and practice genocide and apartheid, are most definitely NOT of the righteous.
