Before wondering if your curriculum is antiracist, ask yourself if YOU are. Even the greatest lesson will fall flat if the person teaching it hasn’t done the internal work first. Antiracism isn’t just a lesson, it’s a lifestyle.

These are the types of photos we see of white youth, even white adults, who have killed people. Trayvon was killed, his murderer free, and we seldom saw photos of this Black boy, full of promise and hope, enjoying a space camp. We’re working to make the world better, Trayvon.
