what a time to be alive. back-2-back cups for the pens feels like a lifetime ago. turning 30 tomorrow, pens haven’t made playoffs in yrs & i may or may not be a marshy fan low key. how times have changed lol, at least the hockey gods are blessing me w playoff hockey tomorrow 🤷‍♀️

cooking turkey dinner for my dad honestly brings my heart so much joy. he doesn’t take time to slow down and enjoy life often so having him over for a few hours to eat good food and laugh at seinfeld together always feels special 💖

living alone for the first time since 2016 (roommate moved out west), and it’s hard to get used to how quiet the house is. i realized today that i talk to my dog even more than before now because i have no one else to yap at 🤣😅

full week of events and conference activities has me appreciating the solo ferry ride back to dartmouth more than ever. not a bad way for an introvert to begin unwinding after mustering all the extroverted energy I have all day 😅
