Parks Canada announcing that after 27 days, the wildfire complex in Jasper National Park is now being held. Lots of rain yesterday and it’s misty by the east gate today.

I’m at the intersection of Highways 16 and 40, near Hinton. Seeing structural firefighters arriving from all over — headed to Jasper. These trucks are from Chestermere and Calgary.

I’m just outside the Jasper National Park gates. According to Parks Canada, wildfire reached the town at 6:40 p.m.

So, here’s a story… took the green bin to the curb yesterday and after putting it down felt a minor tweak in my shoulder. Thought I’d just carried the weight awkwardly and went back up the driveway. By then there was pain across my chest and I was feeling a bit clammy. 1/
