At Buckley hill today I heard a mgr shout over to the other mgr “let the ref referee the match” Id not seen the incident but hed obviously questioned a decision, as I walked behind the goal same mgr shouted “there he is ref offside”I couldnt help myself but shout “let him ref”

@AVillaFootball We follow all zee rules little Englander! Saying that, it's daft to actually ref it at all at that level. You're not there to train officials but let kids play footy

@nathanabennett I don’t know what age it was nat, but our u14s play offside (I know you Germans play different rules 😂) once the kids got to 11 aside which I think is aged 12, all adult rules apply (apart from rolling on/off subs)

It was great in the pub (I’m not particularly an England men/women team supporter) but there was loads of tables of women out and also loads of little girls in kits 👏👏 but like every pub once the match finished they left - stay and support your local boozers or lose them 🧡🖤

@MartinSLewis It's not going down if you're measuring year on year, it's just not raising at the same rate as a year ago.

Inflation down more than expected. In May it was 7.9% year on year down from 8.7% (it was expected to drop to 8.2%) Crucially core inflation was 7.1% and was expected to stay there. It has dropped to 6.9%. This takes a little pressure off bank of England and hopefully the money markets, there's a chance (no promises) new mortgage fix rates may ease off a touch.
