This would be huge: Brazil and China are studying the construction of a 4,500km long South America transcontinental railway that would run from northern Brazilian state of Bahia, cross the Andes, and reach the Chancay megaport near Lima, built with BRI funding. If built, it could shorten shipping times from Brazil to Asia by as much as 12 days compared with current Atlantic routes that pass through the Panama Canal. Oh no. Xiaomi organizes track day with champion driver - crashes car Xiaomi is probably the hottest Chinese car brand, but its SU7 sedan has a reputation for crashing. To teach its customers how to drive fast & safe, Xiaomi organized a track day, grandly called "Xiaomi Auto Elite Driving Advanced Driving Training Course" in Beijing. The main teacher was touring car champion Xie Xinzhe. The company stated: "Xiaomi's advanced driving training will train 10,000 Xiaomi car owners for free in more than 10 cities across the country to improve safety awareness and car control capabilities. This will definitely have a positive effect on road safety." The course included: steering wheel grip, safety awareness, driving awareness, acceleration braking + emergency lane change, and more. Sadly, not all went well. On the first day of the course a blue SU7 Max crashed into a barrier on the side of the track. The car ended up immediately behind a Xiaomi Driving Experience board. The car was immediately covered up with a gray cover. Fortunately, the driver was okay. At present, the specific cause of the accident is not clear.
