Tailwind CSS v4 is amazing. Filament is amazing. A few months ago, I wanted to use the latest Tailwind in a project that also uses Filament. It’s not officially supported, and it took a while to land on a workable solution—but I got there. Just got around to writing it up. 👇

WITHOUT GOOGLING: What 2000s rock band do you think made the most money? Fine print: - their most popular music must have been between 2000 and 2010 - they must have a permanent drummer and guitarist

Russell Brand called out the media on Bill Maher's show: "Do you want an example? The ludicrous, outrageous criticisms of Joe Rogan around Ivermectin deliberately referring to it as a horse medicine when they know it's an effective medicine."

@unusual_whales I don’t care if your rich and have a good soul. I care when you’re rich and have a bad soul and do terrible things to people. Which most rich people are evil and shouldn’t be rich. People are starting to see it through social media and politics

@JayvenBarajas @unusual_whales It’s not just the rich, it’s the powerful. The rich try to influence those in power (arguably their right to do so). If the rich had the all power, they would’t need to influence politicians, elections, etc.

@unusual_whales I feel their pain, but I don’t think the last 50-60 years have been failures in either (well, perhaps democracy to some degree) but we don’t really have free market capitalism given all the entanglements between our economy and our government(s)

Why do they keep non-functional people like Mitch McConnell and Dianne Feinstein around? Because the politicians are irrelevant. They're widgets who serve the donors. Just tools, not decision-makers. Senators in a vegetative state is perfect. No chance they'll disobey donors.

A couple spent $7,200 on groceries last year. They meal planned. They used a list. They thought they were smart shoppers. Their neighbor a former grocery store manager who ran a Kroger for 14 years went shopping with them one Saturday and watched them for 20 minutes. In the parking lot she said: "You're falling for 6 tricks designed into every aisle. The music. The layout. The eye-level placement. The cart size. The produce at the entrance. The candy at checkout. None of it is random. You're overpaying by 30% and the store is counting on it." She showed them 9 tricks the store uses against you and the counter-move for each one. They tracked their spending for 90 days. Grocery bill dropped from $600/month to $410/month. Same food. Same family. Same store. Here's everything she told them 🧵

We need the truth about Mitch McConnell NOW. It is unacceptable that the party who spent four years criticizing Joe Biden’s health is now silent on McConnell’s. What’s the difference between that and what Iran’s leaders are doing with the new Ayatollah? Is McConnell braindead? Or is he chatting about Graham Platner and Iran? It is OUR RIGHT to know. That seat isn’t McConnell’s. It belongs to the people of Kentucky. “No taxation without representation” was a great start. It’s time for “No legislation without representation.”

I spoke to my old friend Mitch McConnell this morning, the senior Senator from Kentucky. He’s still recovering in the hospital. We talked for just shy of 45 minutes. He's so sharp. Just like always he let me do all of the talking. He's a great listener. After that we prayed silently for awhile and had a staring contest. Just like always, he beat me. I told him we want to see him back at work as soon as possible.

I spoke to my old friend Mitch McConnell this morning, the senior Senator from Kentucky. He’s still recovering in the hospital. We talked for just shy of 20 minutes … about IRAN, UKRAINE, the unfolding situation in MAINE, my visit to the TR Presidential Library, and even a little bit of Senate history. I told him we want to see him back at work as soon as possible.
