In what world is human trafficking of minors not considered a serious crime?? Democrats in Sacramento seem to be very averse to categorizing as “serious” violent crimes that disproportionately affect women and girls. Very disturbing. sfchronicle.com/opinion/articl…

JUST IN: The Assembly Public Safety Committee blocks SB 14, which would have made human trafficking of a minor a serious felony in California. "HORRIBLE" was yelled at the dais as victim sobs. The bill had cleared the Senate with bipartisan support.

@RobBonta As your opponent in the Nov ‘22 runoff, we will disagree on many things. But this is not one of them, as we see women’s rights as of the utmost importance. When I become AG and bring safety/security back to CA come November, I will bring the same for women’s reproductive rights.
