Reverend Al Sharpton
Seated at the front of the homegoing service for 7-month-old Kaori Patterson-Moore, listening as her obituary is read, the weight of this loss is impossible to ignore. A baby who had just begun to walk and say “Mama,” now being remembered in a room filled with grief instead of milestones. It is a painful reminder of how senseless gun violence continues to take innocent lives far too soon. As I prepare to deliver the eulogy, we stand with Kaori’s family in this moment of unimaginable sorrow. No parent should have to endure this. We must continue to demand accountability and real action to protect our children and our communities. Rest in peace, Kaori.

Al Sharpton to give the eulogy, officials said. The “homegoing” service for the infant will be at Lawrence H. Woodward Funeral Home (1 Troy Avenue) in Brooklyn, organizers said.…” - nydailynews.com/2026/04/11/fun…

This weekend on #PoliticsNation, present and eel as we none young x reflected on the dialogue coming out of the National Action Network’s 35th Annual Convention here in New York, where leaders from across the country convened at a critical moment for our democracy. I sat down with Kamala Harris to discuss the global impact of Donald Trump’s foreign policy decisions, the ongoing war in Iran, and what it means for America’s standing in the world. She spoke candidly about restoring trust, strengthening alliances, and putting the American people first. When asked directly about 2028, Vice President Harris shared that she is considering a run, making clear that leadership must be about delivering real progress for the people, not personal ambition. #NANCONV2026
