@MikeIsaac I’m planning not to delete my account, but to sign out, get the app off my phone and just stay away for a looooooong time. Maybe forever, but not sure yet. 🤷‍♀️

@WajahatAli Here’s the thing about FL: During the pandemic, Americans MOVED! And the folks who moved to FL were attracted, not repelled, by ivermectin and DeSantis and Maralago. It has gotten significantly redder.

The only thing that has surprised me so far is that Florida would be that self-destructive. That's it. Everything else going as I imagined for the most part.

@igloorovers @tatooinechick @BucksTowel Every state has the right to establish its own laws/rules/processes for voting. Just to clarify, all states do ALLOW mail-in votes. But in 12 states, voters need to have a “valid reason” for requesting a mail-in vote (i.e., they will be out of town on Election Day).

So, for the newbies, this is how you do the election. Here's a results tracker. You can watch the results come in from individual districts, in real time. It's lots of fun. (if you're a numbers geek) Here's CNNs but there are loads of them out there. And the results don't lie. edition.cnn.com/election/2024/…

This is the worst part of the election cycle. This exact point of the evening. I very much feel for those of you on TV right now. There is not a lot to be said, but very soon there will be more than we can possibly digest and understand in real time.

Dr. Phil tells Piers Morgan he gave speech at Trump’s rally as an “act of rebellion” because Kamala Harris snubbed him: “That was an act of rebellion on my part. I requested 25-plus times to speak to Kamala Harris, I offered to give the identical speech at a Harris rally.”

Oh my goodness. HUGE line at the University of Arizona right now & it’s not even noon. I’ve never seen anything like this before. These young people are so fired up and turning out. Simply amazing.

Really quite a thrilling race. After a big Harris lead early, Trump (+ no majority) was ahead as late as simulation 79,287, just couldn't close.

Young voters: if your parents and other older adults are stressed out of their minds right now and refusing to be optimistic, give them a break. Election Day in 2016 was legitimately traumatizing. You just had to be there as an adult to understand.
