Mikel Arteta on Zubimendi: “I mean, to play 50 games for Arsenal in your first season at the level that he’s done & the amount of games that we’ve won, you have to do things in an exceptional way.”
“He’s very much liked by everybody, you can sense that. If you go back to clips in September, October, November, I can show you when he scored goals or assists, the reaction & how he feels with his team-mates is so good. We are blessed to have him.” ❤️🇪🇸

@ArsenalN7 But some brain-dead fans go on and say, "Oh, i just checked your location," when opinions are put forward about a global club like Arsenal. It baffles me

@onlyjboiw No player with ambition will remain at the club if this coach's contract is extended

@Molly_AFC When i see what Pep is doing with Bernado silva, i am assured of my feelings that Arteta failed Fabio Viera as a coach.
Never gave him the Kai benefit of doubt. What he suddenly is giving Zubi by the way. Sad episode in a failed experiment.

@Khaytweets Anglophone sentiments.
They hated the fact that he cost so much.
Pepe was a good player

@_ArsenalMuse No,the point is, with how much we have spent, we can not be hoping on others to get the job done for us.
They said boring football was the price we had to pay for success. Now, we are being faced with going trophyless and playing the worse football i have seen at the club

🚨📰Micah Richards says everyone is overlooking one key factor in the Arsenal vs Man City title race.
Both Arsenal and Manchester City have five Premier League games remaining this season.
On paper, many feel Arsenal have the easier run-in, with none of their remaining fixtures coming against teams in the top half of the table.
City, meanwhile, face Everton, Brentford and Bournemouth in their next three matches, with all three teams still battling for European qualification next season.
That could hand Arsenal an advantage in the title race, but Richards believes the psychological aspect is being overlooked.
He said on Sky Sports:
🗣️🎙️“Everyone will go through it and say ‘Arsenal fixtures are a little bit easier than Man City’s’, but no one is taking into consideration the pressure, the psychological battle that goes on within.
“Coming into these (games), it’s why I said, if Man City, in the Arsenal game, stay within three points and come into this game (vs Burnley), and make it equal, I believe Man City will win because of the psychological battle. Because they have leaders and the experience going into it.
“When I look at Arsenal, they have great players, great talents. But I looked at Arsenal at the weekend, and I was thinking ‘Who’s going to turn up for them?’
“They had the chances, big chances, and that’s when you need your big players to turn up. That’s what Man City seem to do more often than not.” Via [afcnewsroom]
Gooners, what do you think of Micah Richards’ take?

@theboogeyman78 @ArsenalN7 Our only prayer at this point. City are clearly a different team without him.

@ArsenalN7 The only luck Arsenal will get is to pray Rodri doesnt come back ..

🗣 Patrick Vieira : "I think I just want them to remind themselves where they are and why they are where they are. Meaning that they are at the top of the league, they are in the semi-final of the Champions League, and you can't reach that level with no quality, with no team spirit and with no togetherness.
"It's about winning games, they know how to do it because they've been doing it for the last seven, eight months. When we are in the last sprint, I will say it, it's important not to forget the quality that brings them where they are today because that will help them to win.
"I think when you're going through this run, it's important not to change the habit. You just keep doing what you used to do and try to enjoy the family time." [@Arsenal] #afc

@TheMatchdayHQ @Ekremkonur He deserves better pay and success. Arteta has wasted his career.
Wish him all the happiness if he decides to leave.

🚨🇧🇷 | 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Real Madrid and PSG have entered the race to sign Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhães this summer.
There’s growing belief the defender could consider a move if Arsenal do not win either of the Premier League or the Champions League. 👀
