Sepia died suddenly this morning. I got him when he was 6 months old, they found him in my garage, he was under weight, had burns in his paws from walking in the hot pavement, and had a big gash on his mouth. But despite this, he would purr when I picked him up, he was such a kind soul - and he was always by my side wherever I went. I can’t even process it right now - it just feels like a bad dream I can safely ignore. I am traveling Europe and won’t be back for another month.

@dresouzax Humans makes it sound like your app can also be used by other animals, or aliens. 😜 People is ok. But it might be too generic. A person who doesn’t use your app is not who you’re designing for - you’re designing for the people who use your app / aka your users.

Design is Language. Instead of "users", try using the word "people" or "humans". It'll broaden your perspective, shift your assumptions & elevate your understanding. "When users try to do X..." < "When people try to do X..." < "When humans try to do X..." Language is Design.

@karmchaari it's common to see people use 吖 for that specific context/tone, all others cases as you said are merely contextual, not much confusion by simply using 呀

I literally have received multiple vaccinations in order to travel internationally and my passport book is full of those records. This isn’t new dude. Not new at all.
