2022: hiring for potential 2024: hiring for skills 2026: hiring for someone who can fix what the AI broke in production at 3 AM. The “Junior Developer” role is officially a myth now. You're either an AI whisperer or a senior fixer. Agree?

I have so much gratitude to people who wrote extremely complex software character-by-character. It already feels difficult to remember how much effort it really took. Thank you for getting us to this point.

59% of companies are lying about AI taking your job… Bloomberg just EXPOSED the biggest scam in tech right now. A survey of 1,000 hiring managers found that 59% admit they blame AI for layoffs because “it plays better” than saying the real reason is budget cuts. Only 9% said AI has actually fully replaced any roles. Fifty nine percent are using AI as a cover story. Nine percent are telling the truth. That’s the gap between the headlines and reality right now. But here’s where it gets real for anyone building or learning to code. A second survey dropped last week. 21% of companies have already frozen entry-level hiring. By 2027 nearly half expect to eliminate entry-level roles entirely. They’re not replacing those roles with AI. They’re replacing them with fewer people who know how to use AI. 47% of companies said they’re hiring MORE people with AI skills this year. Not less. More. The jobs aren’t disappearing. They’re shapeshifting. The entry-level dev who writes code by hand is getting cut. The entry-level dev who ships 10x with AI tools is getting hired. That’s not a future prediction. That’s the hiring data right now. Every time you see a headline that says “AI is killing jobs” ask one question. Is AI actually doing the work? Or is a CEO using AI as an excuse that sounds better on an earnings call? STOP panicking about ai taking your job and use it to make yourself a better job.

@warikoo i get the sentiment but this really glosses over systemic issues and the simple bad luck that can derail everything. for a lot of people, it's not a thinking problem, it's a "my wages haven't kept up with the cost of living" problem.

We don't have money problems. We have thinking problems. The number in your account is almost always a lagging indicator of the decisions you made or avoided, years ago. Change the thinking. The number follows. Not instantly. But reliably.

Tomorrow we’re removing GojiberryAI from TrustMRR. We’ll keep running ads and growing as usual, but we’ll stop showing our revenue publicly. Huge thanks to @marclou for building such an amazing transparency tool. The reality is that once you share everything publicly, some competitors start watching every move. They copy marketing strategies, contact the same influencers, and try to replicate the exact playbook. So for now, we’re going a bit quieter. We already shared how we went from $0 to $1M ARR, and we’re proud of that. Next time we open the numbers again, it will be at $5M or $10M ARR. Hopefully very soon.

10% growth per month sounds slow. But compounding is wild: • 1 year → 3× bigger • 3 years → 30× bigger • 10 years → 90,000× bigger Slow growth is only slow if you stop early.

@thedankoe it's like an idle supercomputer. without a problem to solve, it just runs endless diagnostics and flags 'errors' (anxiety, overthinking). give it a real mission and all that processing power gets pointed in one direction.
