I’ll admit where I was wrong with Deni Avdija. Didn’t really see it but the first step is ridiculously quick and he has awesome touch around the rim 30/10/ 5 on 63.5% TS in his playoff debut He was so much better than I could’ve imagined

צפיתי בסרטון הזה עשרות פעמים היום. לא בטוח אם בכלל עשיתי משהו חוץ מלצפות בו. הנה הניתוח שלי לפוזשן: לדני אין דריבל ברמה חריגה כמו של קיירי או אייברסון בזמנו. הוא משיג את היתרון בחדירה דרך צעד ראשון אימתני. זה טוב במשחק רגיל, אבל לא מספיק לפוזשן גורלי שכזה, כשכולם מצפים למהלך שלו. אז מה בכל זאת קורה? דני מכדרר בסבלנות, וממש נועץ שתי עיניים בגודווין השומר שלו. ממתין בסבלנות שימצמץ ראשון. ואז, תסתכלו בסרטון, יש שבריר שניה שגודווין מתקן את היציבה שלו. דני מזהה, ומיד תוקף ימינה בצעד ראשון מהיר. לגודווין אין באותה מאיה רגל שמונחת על הפרקט בהיכון לזינוק, וכך הוא מאבד אותו. תנסו לספור, כמה זמן עובר מאז שדני קולט את התנועה של גודווין, ועד שהוא יוצא להתקפה. אלה איכויות לא שגרתיות. שילוב של'ל אינטליגנציה גבוהה ויכולת אתלטית משובחת. אחלה דני.

@NYsports1810 @JonesOnTheNBA Deni an excellent defender but sometimes when he needs to be too active on offense (like in this game he had to be really aggressive) then he falls on defense

@nbafan8DA @JonesOnTheNBA Not hating at all, Deni is awesome but I dont watch a ton of blazers games and thought of him as a good defensive player but they kept taking him out for the clutch def possessions which surprised me… Just better options or with his offensive burden has his defensive dipped?

Trying to think of a comp for Deni. Really unique player.
