The All-Star Game is a wholly unnecessary risk. Name an All-Star team, make the donations to HBCU anyway, let players have a week to breathe, don't bring people from 15-20 different places to one and then back out. Kinda can't believe this is a thing.

At our current pace, it would take a year to vaccinate 80% of the country, assuming a 2-dose vaccine. (I'd expect the pace will keep improving.) But 3m shots/day seems like a useful benchmark. At that pace, you could give 80% of the country a one-dose booster shot w/in 3 months.

@rob_dodson @csswizardry It means further that google’s “field data” is based entirely on data from those users who use Chrome. Google uses both field data (actual users) and lab data (crawlers) for measuring your site’s performance

@rob_dodson @csswizardry The crawler uses Chromium, since non-chrome browsers do not fire the events for measuring core vitals. This means if you want to measure your actual user’s core vitals, you can’t do it on iOS safari

This is about the third such story I have heard. It will not be long before stories turn more tragic and we start to hear about failures where the vaccines expire un-administered. We should be acting with this sense of urgency 24/7.
