@EBNEO @NEJM Anecdotally, it feels like we are seeing less RSV this year. Are there data to support this? Would be interesting to hear from our OBGYN colleagues what the uptake for Abrysvo has been among expectant mothers. The introduction of Beyfortus also complicates measuring its impact.

@EBNEO @NEJM Were any centers routinely using NIRS during the first few days of life among extremely preterm infants when this was conducted? Did any centers stop after it was published? Device trials are rare, but important. We can't simply assume more devices are better.

@EBNEO @NEJM We hadn't adopted cerebral NIRS prior to this trial. I am assuming some centers had? Would love to hear from providers in centers that were using it, and to know if this trial impacted their practice. Deimplementation can be even trickier than implementation!

#neotwitter What do you think are the major controversies in the field of bronchopulmonary dysplasia? If you've worked at multiple locations, what are the major practice variations and what causes most disagreement in this field?

@drbretty @ambaln @nbamat Definitely a topic here in the US. Seems to be two schools of thought - Tracheostomy and discharge, maybe ~44 weeks PMA, or long haul NICU stay.

@nbamat Maybe it helps. "Each formulary has its own workflow, monograph template and style, and update routine. Focus on certain aspects of DI also varies, as well as the type of initiative and funding." doi.org/10.3390/childr…
