@HM_Passport @SherylStanton1 The service is appalling and not fit for purpose. We missed our dream family holiday and the kids are so upset. All money gone - you now say 10 weeks to get a passport but that wasn’t the message 5 weeks ago when we applied - still waiting on children’s renewal passports

Don’t book travel without a valid passport. Apply early, and apply online – it’s the easiest and cheapest way to get your British passport. Do it now at: gov.uk/renewpassport

@nc1975hello @HM_Passport @RachySyrett Did you manage to get sorted? We are due to go Tuesday and still mo@passports back after sending off in August for my sons renewal. Mine and my daughters were submitted the same time & came back in 2/3 weeks 😞

@HM_Passport @simolewis This isn’t the advice at the point of applying online. The advice is to select fast track if flying within 3 weeks. So to prevent delays on those needing within that time frame we submitted applications - after 4 weeks no passports for our children, holiday cancelled

@HM_Passport Hi. How to talk to an advisor? Been calling for hours and call get disconnected automatically after 20 to 30 minutes. There is no way call get through and you can talk to somebody. What to do @HM_Passport
