Big picture, NMU had 5 straight losing seasons when Potulny got the job. He had winning seasons in 5 of his 7 years there.

It’s a shame Potulny’s teams at Northern couldn’t find success because he checks a lot of boxes: captained two NCAA championship teams, college and pro head coaching experience, bleeds maroon and gold. Unfortunately his lack of traction at NMU will be held against him.

University of Minnesota AD Mark Coyle has begun the process to hire a new men’s hockey coach. According to sources, interviews have been lined for this weekend with St. Cloud State coach Brett Larson, Hartford Wolf Pack coach Grant Potulny and Augustana coach Garrett Raboin

Anderson was one of my dark horses in the college free agent class this year. 6-foot-6, 222, coming off a breakout year after transferring to Michigan Tech from Lindenwood. Dallas has a strong track record with college UFAs.

Not going to win many games when every scoring chance you allow ends up in the net. Genuinely don’t think I’ve seen anything like that.
Ugly end but year 1 under Bill Muckalt was a resounding success. I suspect next years team will be quite a bit better
