Artificial turf easily reaches 60-80°C on hot days, burning players’ feet, causing blisters, heat exhaustion and higher injury risk. Natural grass stays much cooler. Why cut corners on athlete safety in one of Kenya’s hottest regions? Water scarcity is real, but this shortcut is dangerous and lazy. Kenyan players deserve better pitches, not a heat trap.
