It'll be hard and weird for couples to invite Chike to sing at their weddings. And weddings make up the most of his bookings. Lesson: Don't get high on your own supplies.

Igbo people are generally bunch of imbeciles that think they know what they are doing- we don't talk about this enough. Masters of living money on the table. Any where there is a prospect for organised economic activities, that could benefit the whole group as a whole, you will hardly see us represented. It is largely the same statistics you will see across almost all the sectors of the economy. Anything that is / requires proper planning and organisation, you will never see Igbo people there. That is why our IGR has been in the gutters for years. We have seen the opposition that PN Mbah is facing for attempting to grow the IGR. We just have this non-chalant attitude of "he no concern me". We often behave as though we are full and not hungry, but in real sense we are some of the hungriest in the country. Imagine what Nkalagu cement would have done to the people of Ebonyi? Instead, we just folded our hand and allow Dangote to max out the whole market for over 25yrs, to the point that he made too much profit that allowed him to build a $20B refinery. Meanwhile Ebonyi people would go on to hawk on the streets of Lagos to irk out a living. So many things Igbo state leadership could do to make tonnes of money, but we often times behave like people that don't really care about it.
Nze@nzemmili

Mind you, people from Southeast region are not paying attention. Not one state has a cement plant, but they will listen to their leaders tell them they’re being marginalised.

@WorldBankGroup I like what Nigerians are telling @WorldBankGroup now. You keep approving loans to politicians while standard of living keep worsening for the Nigerian people. One day, someone will rise and ask to go collect the loan from the man you gave it to.

@oil_shaeikh This looks plausible till you meet "artisans"who design and fabricate engines in Aba. Do those qualify as engineers? An engineer designs, builds, & maintains engines. I wonder if it's only engineering that has this hierarchy listed, or it applies to Law, Surgery, etc.

The Mechanical Engineering final year students of IMO State University were hosting a graduation party. At some point the generator developed fault. None of the students had a clue on how to fix it. They all had to start searching for an artisan to fix it. They eventually found someone that came and fixed it. The quality of the graduates in most of our state universities and in some federal universities are unemployable. A university where students have to sort their way out without learning anything meaningful. I call many of them, illiterate graduates.

@winexviv It's not the job of a mechanical engineer to "fix" a generator. That's why you have technologists, technicians/artisans, in the engineering family. Every engineering student that took Eng 101 (Engineer in the society) knows this

BREAKING.... 2027 POLLS: OBIDIENT MOVEMENT REBRANDS, SACKS PETER OBI, YUNUSA Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Nigerian political space came under more tension on Thursday with the immediate disbandment of the #Obidient Movement and expulsion of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Peter Obi; one his disciples, Yunusa Tanko and all other persons appointed under the unauthorised leadership structure that emerged after the 2023 elections. Those behind the sacking premised the decision on political prostitution and its misuse for personal advantage and private gains. Consequently, the organisation has been rebranded to the #OBEDIENT Movement, to disengage it from Obi and his loyalists. Several calls, SMS and WhatsApp messages to Obi and Yunusa were not replied. Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja to unveil the organisation, the International Coordinator of the #OBEDIENT Movement, Dr Barry Avotu Johnson, clarified that it has not yet adopted any presidential candidate for 2027 and has ceased to have any dealings with Labour Party. According to him, the rebranding was necessary because after the 2023 elections, the original vision and founding ideals of the #Obidient Movement were no longer adequately represented by those who assumed control of its structure.
