I decided to go on a walk and stop at a Blue Bottle. Maybe I’d run into someone I know? Yes. Literally at the door. First person in the shop: no way, great to see you! Sat down, breakfast with a friend: accomplished, no need to even text anyone

@pjux Do you live near the people you like? I've found SF has the social profile of a uni campus - "shuffle over to a friend's place and jump on their couch" sort of thing. Living too far robs you of opportunity for casual, unplanned hangs that close friendships are often built on
