The #Virginia press corps is losing one of its best. @nedoliver had a knack for finding offbeat stories. His writing was vibrant and original (even after @Axios reduced him to bullet points.) He and family are off to an adventure in Uruguay. Montevideo's gain in Richmond's loss.

38 years ago, more or less, “Cousin” Greg Schneider (now WashPost) wrote this nice article about Chip Woodrum and me. It was a hoot being interviewed for this! Chip fouled things up by passing away 10 years ago, more or less. Chip, you sure fouled up Valentine’s Day!

4 hour update: DPVA spox says they've counted approximately 3,500 ballots so far in VA-4 special.
That's about 13% of the roughly 26,500 total ballots cast

Line out the door at Dogtown Dance location too, but it’s moving fast — people in and out in about 10 minutes.

Hearing there was about a 45 minute wait to vote in Richmond as of 11am and the line is even longer now.
