Heba Muraisi, on day 71 of her hunger strike, has told friends that she is dying. Kamran Ahmed has reached 64 days & Lewie Chiaramello, 50 days. These prisoners awaiting trial and held on remand above normal legal limits, are still being denied bail. This cannot end in death.

We are on day 44 of hunger striking. When will the British state respond?

I watch a lot of UK news and I haven't seen a single mention of the political prisoners on hunger strike right now.

Five hunger strikers have been hospitalised, some multiple times, since beginning hunger strike They are soon entering their sixth week of hunger strikes, they are at a point of irreversible damage to their bodies Shockingly, the govt has allowed this by remaining silent

This afternoon I visited Qesser Zuhrah, a 20-year-old on hunger strike for Palestine at HMP Bronzefield. She’s on day 37 — her health is seriously deteriorating, yet she continues to show extraordinary resolve. Qesser and 7 others are part of the largest coordinated hunger strike since 1981. Many have been held on remand far beyond the six-month legal maximum. They must be granted immediate bail. David Lammy cannot pretend not to know about them; he must address their calls for justice.

Was there a proper, detailed explanation as to why the names ‘Left Party’ (or ‘the Left’) & the ‘People’s Party’ were ruled out by the @ElectoralCommUK? I would like to hear more about that.
