Millwall supporters were calling us Ni**ers and trying to terrorise us when we were CHILDREN. My nan when she arrived in Lewisham suffered multiple arson attacks with “P*ki go home” sprayed on her door. My dad and his siblings fought constantly when they arrived in Bermondsey

Not a single person has been put on trial for Grenfell. But they can lock up non-violent protestors for 21 years, because they are a 'danger'.

Sierra Leone is home to 800,000 child brides, half of whom were married before the age of 15, according to a 2019 UNICEF report. The passing of this law is great news.👏🏿

If it weren’t for the Congo, there wouldn’t be any iPhones in the world. The world’s biggest tech company, especially Apple, relies on cobalt mining in the country to power its iPhones. But it’s also a source of child labor and the deaths of thousands of people, while the world watches. In the meantime, the use of forced labor in the Congo is becoming more common, due to the proliferation of armed groups in the country that are funded by multinational companies to run multiple mines. In March 2024, More than 40 000 children are working in hazardous conditions in cobalt mines in the Katanga province alone, according to the UN.

Good morning, We are happily to announce that @StandForCongoUK is back with an anticipated protest that will be happening on Saturday 1st June 2024. Given the severity that’s been happening for the past weeks in DRC, it’s time to dominate the streets of London once again ✊🏾🇨🇩

@mikecmorgan @dwayneDwayne_ @Lorna_TVeditor It is time for Black men to do this to be honest, we’ve had women standing outside that club with banners and only me and a few others speaking out publicly It would be great to have some support.

Tim Westwood has been interviewed 4 times under police caution after sexual misconduct allegations. Concerned, I called the promoter who confirmed this event is taking place. He seemed annoyed when I pressed him to answer some obvious questions and slammed the phone down…🤔

If Parliament had listened to Diane Abbott: We wouldn't have invaded Iraq. Black Britons wouldn't have been deported in the Windrush Scandal. Our country wouldn't have been decimated by austerity. Diane's voice should not be ignored —her ongoing mistreatment is a disgrace.
