Speaking just as an outsider, I'm sure it's been said many times before, but at this point isn't Trump basically like a meme stock? The more outlandish or shocking his behaviour, the more appealing he is to a kind of "let's burn it all down to give the elite a good kicking" crowd

@mosesjones 100%, this is what I’m working on a lot - showing where LLMs truly add value for enterprises and where proposed use cases are simply replicating what already exists (but not as well)

@neilwd Tool usage is key in the enterprise, most enterprise capabilities are already embedded in tools, but LLMs appear determined to do everything themselves.

A really interesting unfolding conversation here at #DF24 re #Agents is about how they complement other automation technology approaches. As limitations are addressed, natural affinity with case management - which of course often sits in front office

@mosesjones Yes agree. Lots more work to be done for good / appropriate practices to evolve and be supported by tools

@neilwd But only if the RAG correctly retrieves them and they are interpreted in context correctly. Sometimes you might be better off spending a bit more time and turning them into rules.

On way to #DF24 to soak up the #AI vibes. In past years I’d tweet my reactions to keynotes, etc etc. However tbh I’m not sure how much of my network would really take notice on here, these days?

@Noahpinion Not sure if this is engagement bait? Ah well… The solution is never a magic pill. Part of a solution for some people, perhaps

Ozempic shows why I'm such a techno-optimist. For years, people thought the solution to obesity was a SOCIAL solution (shame fat people more and they'll lose weight) or a POLITICAL solution (tax sugar). The actual solution is just a magic pill.

Prediction: Ozempic will spur a weight-loss trend among people who *don't* take Ozempic, due to social contagion. When people see their friends losing weight with Ozempic, they'll want to lose more weight in general.

I heard Tony on @r4Today previewing this, and was *somewhat surprised* to hear the report estimated around 40% of DWP tasks could be automated with #AI. Said the report was done "in collaboration with a big tech vendor" IIRC, but details of that are not easy to come by...

OK let's see if this platform still works like it used to, a little... A #GenAI tech detail I cannot find a quick answer to: how are LLM parameters typically stored once a model is trained? Database of some kind? Flat file?
