Let's be honest. If #Goodomens3 had just ended with the restoration of the old universe as it was and Aziraphale and Crowley alive, in love, and kissing as an angel and demon, no one would care about any assumed implications or philosophies about God and free-will. NO ONE.
@taggiehive This is a beautiful analysis! I’m just rewatching s1 and it’s crazy how the entire family treats Taggie as a servant, which gives an extra layer to Maud’s shock as she’s so used to dismissing Taggie that she’s taken aback when others find her desirable.
this dynamic is the reason for her competition with taggie in season 1. maud uses sex, and the pursuit of it, to channel both her need for validation and her resentment and taggie’s youth acts as a catalyst that forces maud to confront just how unfulfilled she is with her life.
that look between maud and taggie right after rupert tells her that he is interested in taggie and not in her works really well. in that moment, maud is clearly comparing herself to taggie and its clear that her cruelty is deeply rooted in that self-comparison.
@shoytebag I genuinely think that even if he had a dragon, he would not stop craving more power, because having a dragon doesn’t stop bad things from happening and his coping mechanism would evolve to becoming a dragon instead of having one
@shoytebag Alternatively, he gets a dragon, goes full method and stops communicating in human ways, seeking the old magic because he believes he is meant to be able to transform
am I wrong for thinking it would be extremely accurate and upholding a cornerstone of Aerion's character that even in AUs where the dragons never go extinct, he's rejected each time he tries to claim a dragon and his egg never hatches
@deaddovelovely This season confirmed to me that he indeed is a rape baby making the mommy issues more juicy…
but ohh rosie.. getting raped and birthing a son but then that son grows up and rapes you…
I just find it so out of character when he lets Ilya hit it raw / the condom breaks and they don’t get plan B or do anything - usually it makes for a good plot with other ships, but with Shane it just takes me out because that hockey-obsessed little jock would NEVER
the only valid contexts for shane hollander to get pregnant and have a baby:
- retired from hockey and trans
- autism discovery via child’s autism and you don’t want him to have a baby with anyone but ilya
- never got to play pro hockey for injury/other reason
@aerionyraa It’s fascinating that Alicent couldn’t give a crap about who gets hurt so long as it appears morally justified and isn’t Helaena or her kids.
@aerionyraa Exactly, she has had some self-awareness about the past after Viserys died but when it comes to the present and future she still thinks that she’s morally right and her decisions are above whatever her sons or Rhaenyra make
alicent has always acted superior to rhaenyra — being hostiIe towards her for sleeping with cole then doing the same thing, being one of the main reasons why the w4r even started, not caring about the bIoodshed, then acting like nyra is eviI for taking back her throne, she will +
i didnt realized Vaella is daeron's daughter in canon. i thought its a fan made up name for valaeron's kid bc how vaella just looks like the combination of valarr and daeron.
