@TheCriticalDri2 Playing devils advocate here but have you seen her body? It's usually pretty tight so for a director to ask that also seems pretty ridiculous. Imagine being thin and being asked to suck it in. That would be odd and insulting.

Do you have ANY idea what these guys had to put themselves through to look like this? But no, being asked to suck your gut in for a few seconds was clearly far worse.

@thatstarwarsgrl While, yes, there are jokes on the podcast hosted by a comedian, Godfrey, at no time during the segment does he state it's a joke so the host seem to believe his translation. To make matters worse he continued to insult and disrespect the writer in DMs.

@thatstarwarsgrl There's more going on here if you look past the face value of it. The writer of the song is sueing him for defaming the cultural relevance of the song. Basically he gave an improper, unflattering translation on a podcast where African culture is supposed to be celebrated.

@thatstarwarsgrl I'd argue isn't it about time a popcorn flick gets recognized in major Oscar categories. 10 years from now no one will be talking about the other nominated films but they will be talking about Sinners.

I love Michael B Jordan but I’m confused to as why Sinners was even on the Oscar list. It was just a remake of From Dusk Till Dawn. Usually popcorn flicks aren’t typical “Oscar Bait” let alone winners 🤷‍♀️

@RMBee Here's the problem I have. The Green Lantern Corps are intergalactic police. Keeping them earth bound minimizes the scale of what they really do.

This pushback against the LANTERNS is absolutely absurd. As a lifelong comic fan...how can you not be intrigued by a "real world" presentation of these characters?
