this whole witch hunt of accusing fics of being ai because of certain wording and “too much too fast” is a very dangerous path to go down. writing several chapters prior to posting to create a schedule isn’t new, and wording can sound like ai because ai stole the writing style

I hate GenAi. I hate that it exists. I hate that it makes everything seem fake in a world already rife with frauds and scammers. It disconnects us further from each other and the human gift of art, for no discernible reward I can fathom. It feeds all our worst qualities: laziness, historical and literary degeneracy, dishonesty and covetousness. It turns people into thieves that argue back in total absurdity: “I should have the right to steal and lie.” It is poison delivered by keystroke.

@BnorkNork It’s toxic codependence. The game loop is sometimes fun but mostly dogshit, yet the possibility of fun keeps folks going back. The most freeing thing I did for myself was uninstall DBD. I miss playing against Weskers, but it’s just not worth all the angst of the rest of the game.
