Atendi meu primeiro caso de vítima de DDoS de um app construído por vibe coding. O fundador era motorista de app e resolveu criar seu próprio para atender sua clientela na cidade e servir de plataforma para motoristas próximos, amigos e familiares que são da profissão. Todo o dia à noite no horário de pico ele recebe DDoS na infraestrutura do app que fica 100% fora do ar. Ele estava desesperado pois está perdendo a confiança dos clientes e dos motoristas. As IAs até ensinaram ele a como ativar o serviço de WAF da Cloudflare, mas ainda assim o tráfego residual do ataque era suficiente para derrubar a aplicação toda. O débito cognitivo era gigante: ele mal conseguia dizer as palavras-chave importantes do produto dele. Em qual linguagem foi desenvolvida, quais bibliotecas usava e exatamente onde estava hospedado o app. Ele tinha 20 dólares de orçamento mensal para gastar na proteção, o mesmo budget que ele tinha destinado a Cloudflare sem sucesso. Isso custeia nem 1h de consultoria 1:1, que dirá custear um time de consultores anti-DDoS inteiro. Esse débito cognitivo dele como desenvolvedor não-programador da solução prejudica muito o trabalho de diagnóstico pois ele não conseguia responder as perguntas que nosso time precisava da resposta. E o débito técnico do app exigiria possivelmente uma reescrita substancial do código-fonte ou até mudanças de arquitetura inteiras. Existem 3 modos de fazer um aplicativo online: - O errado. - O certo. - E o resistente a ataques DDoS. Não basta fazer do modo correto. É a diferença de um caminhão comum para um carro-forte. Fico triste em ver um empreendedor ter que fechar as portas sem conseguir obter ajuda especializada.
