“There is no where in the Bible where we are taught to honor evil and how you die does not redeem how you lived. You don’t become a hero in death when you are a weapon of the enemy in life”
~Pastor Howard John-Wesley

In DC #CharlieKirk
This is how many black and brown people feel about Kirk. Charlie Kirk was a highly controversial and divisive figure. Many Black and Brown people saw him not as a man of peace, but as someone who aligned with Trump’s ideology in ways that often excluded or disrespected their communities. While no one should meet the tragic end he did, it’s also important to be honest: his legacy was not one of unity or healing, but of conflict and division.
He should be remembered with pity, not celebration
@UberINSupport ur cab driver in Hyderabad when driving to the airport cancel the trip midway and still make us pay, i had an offical trip today and didnt realize he cancelled the booking , now i need a bill to get the amount reimbursed from my company
@aledeniz@theliverdoc Don't get involved, you are entering an argument with indians who've been triggered, you're better off screaming at a some US school teachers that there are only 2 genders
@theliverdoc Out of curiosity, in your statement with jaggery do you mean the sugarcane product, or the toddy palm product?
If you mean the sugarcane product, the Portugueses were producing that in Madeira at least since 1452, and the Andalusians and the Sicilians centuries before that.
2 mins of silence for all the people who ditched table sugar, and opted for jaggery as healthy sugar alternative, & special 2 more mins of silence for the ones drinking sugarcane juice after watching health benefits advertised on YouTube, FB, & WhatsApp. You've all been scammed.
@mikeszeller@EndWokeness I have benefitted from the white persons occupation of my country; democracy, electricity, railway, education, while we fought for our independence and got it, we don't sit complain about all the atrocities done 700 yrs ago
What's something you know and believe, a contrarian take to what everyone else believes right now, that you know 10 years from now everyone will share & agree with you, and that it will actually just be conventional boring wisdom then?
@lexfridman As long as the person seeking forgiveness is contrite, acknowledges how they were wrong, shows some evidence of trying to rectify their behavior and words and there's been a reasonable amount of time for personal growth, then I'm on board, most times.
