🚨🔵 EXCL | Tyrique George has been told he will not be going out on loan this summer, and the decision came directly from Alonso. The 19-year-old attacker was expected to follow the standard Chelsea academy-to-loan pipeline. Alonso ended that conversation before it could begin. He watched George’s cup appearances from this season and told Cobham staff the winger has “an unusual understanding of space for his age.” George will be in first-team training from day one of preseason. He won’t start Premier League matches immediately. But Alonso wants him in the environment, absorbing the system. Another Leverkusen principle applied at Chelsea, develop from within, in-house, under direct supervision. George’s representatives are quietly thrilled. #CFC

No brief on Lavia who hasn’t played up to 50 games in 3 seasons and has never completed a single 90 mins in his chelsea career but you want to let go of the most reliable player in the squad and a large section of the fans are supporting the decision when you know we won’t even get a replacement that’s half good as him, A player stepping into his prime is who the fans wants out, always clutch, most big game player in the squad, most goal involvement in the last 2 seasons, the club will definitely survive without him cause no player is bigger than the club but it will be very stupid to let go of him at this time of his career.

When you deep it no Cole Palmer is actually diabolical. No matter how average he has been, he is still Cole Palmer. If you’re other nations, you are laughing and can’t believe what they’re seeing within the England squad right now 😭

Bookmark It Chelsea were happy to proceed with Alonso but ultimately felt his heart and long term desire was elsewhere. The club believed total commitment to the project was required given the critical phase of development Chelsea currently find themselves in. Owners, sporting directors and Iraola now fully aligned on project vision, recruitment structure and wider footballing strategy. Iraola always highly admired internally and viewed as one of the standout coaching profiles in European football. The briefs are going to be absolutely incredible when this happens 😭 The fan meltdown will be on a completely different level.
