How many veterans are the face of modern Britain? I didn’t fight Muslims who attacked us on our own soil to be told they are now more British than I am. 🇬🇧

Folks, I’ll try and put this into perspective. By the time I deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 the Taliban were on the back foot. We were involved in stand up scraps but our main enemy was IED’s. These claimed more Afghans and their livestock than our forces. Also the indiginous Taliban was almost a non entity. We found ourselves fighting Islamist mercenaries from all over the world, including Britain. But the main protagonists in our AO were Pakistanis. The action where this image was taken resulted in the destruction of a whole Taliban cell by C Company 3 Para and Apache AH. The young officer in the foreground received the MC for his part. All of the dead were from Pakistan. They ruled with brutality and the locals were terrified of them. Yes, we had ‘local’ allies in the Afghan Army but most of them were from surrounding states such as Turkmenistan, Kazakstan etc. The ANP were the most corrupt organisation in country. They fed info to the Taliban, extorted locals and raped and abused children on a daily basis. The people standing up for Islam In this country have no concept of the evil they are importing. I can’t express my biterness towards Labour and Tories alike that have facilitated this not so silent invasion. You ask any veteran who served in the middle east. We may not all agree on the rights and wrongs of being there but most will agree that Islam is not conducive with western values and morality. It is a religion of contradictions, firmly based in the middle ages. I won’t apologise for wanting none of it in our country. Thank you for all the follows, and to all those that disagree, fill your boots, because men and women like me fought for your right to do so, but don’t expect me to engage, I don’t do keyboard handbags. I never thought I’d live to see the day that the UK would be in this state, or despise our own leaders, but if we don’t move now I fear for our childrens and their childrens future. I’m nailing my Union Flag to @RestoreBritain_ mast. @RupertLowe10

I am pleased to see the UK is not involved in these strikes on Iran. They are ill-advised and illegal. We will be hit by the consequences though & need to prepare for chaos in the region, with shipping lanes, oil facilities & military bases (including our own) being attacked.

The attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States are illegal, unprovoked and unjustifiable. Peace and diplomacy was possible. Instead, Israel and the United States chose war. This is the behaviour of rogue states — and they have jeopardised the safety of humankind around the world with this catastrophic act of aggression. Our government must condemn this flagrant breach of international law, and urgently pursue a foreign policy based on justice, sovereignty and peace.

@shaun7r He was having a go at NATO mucker. He made his point. Countries like France and Germany have been taking the piss far too long. It would be good if he addressed the comment to the blokes and blokettes but not to the useless cunts in charge.

As someone who served in Afghanistan it’s sickening seeing all these super patriotic politicians and arm chair warriors weaponising a few clumsy words from Trump. To hear ex armed forces MP’s using it as political currency is especially nauseating. Every single one of them voted to remove protection from prosecution from our veterans from NI and beyond. Members of our present armed forces including the SAS are still being investigated over the vexatious claims of our countries enemies. So.. Cairns, Tapp, Jarvis and the rest of you… YOU FUCK OFF! Mr Trump… carry on. 🇬🇧🇺🇸

@realDonaldTrump any chance you could apologise to the British army. I've lost some good friends to NATO's so called operations. More to the point, I'm still losing my former colleagues to the battles they brought home. Our government might be a bunch of clowns, but we are not.
