@ayourtch If the situation is ambiguous, it would prioritize its own reputation over someone's else life.

SG @jensstoltenberg to MEPs: "The price we pay as the EU, as #NATO, is the price we can measure in currency, in money. The price they pay is measured in lives lost every day. So, we should stop complaining and step up and provide support. Full stop.” #StandWithUkraine

@ayourtch I am pretty sure this is a PR move by AWS, because, first, they don't have any data centers there, and second, many years ago a new law forced all companies doing business in Russia have the data in Russia. Almost like this whole thing was planned, huh.

@ID_AA_Carmack It's harder to make those tracks equal length and fit them on the board with minimal interference when there are twice as many.

RAM still uses a bidirectional data bus today; is there a point coming where it will be faster to split the pin counts, possibly asymmetrically, into unidirectional channels at higher clock rates?

At the physical wiring level, many things are unidirectional links today, often with significant numbers in parallel for PCIe. For a lot of devices, one of reads or writes will be much more common, so do asymmetrical R/W wire counts get considered?
