No needle. ~15-min peak. Taken as you eat.
Tried it a few times myself — genuinely an amazing innovation. Shame it’s US, Brazil and India only and never approved here in Europe.

@coldasice58 There was scepticism towards the idea at the beginning. It’s been on the market for many, many years, and people who use it love it. I’m a massive advocate. As with most things, we need choice and this is a very unique way of delivering insulin.

The one that finally ditched fingerstick calibrations. 10-day wear, that one-press applicator… felt like the future at the time.
Bittersweet though — G6 production ends 1 July 2026. End of an era 🥲

Police Removes Diabetes Experts from World's Largest Diabetes Confernce for handing out a research paper.
The paper criticised the US administration's cuts to diabetes research. Several lost their ability to present their own work at the event.
