After building out a game of my own and using Retro Diffusion for every piece of art, I'm really curious to see what other people can come up with. So I'm going to host a mini game jam. $500 of Retro Diffusion credits in prizes (1st = $300, 2nd & 3rd = $100 each). Build a game over the next week that uses RD for the artwork. Whatever genre, whatever type of gameplay. On Tuesday March 10th I'll gather up all the games (video of gameplay is fine) and decide which I think is the most interesting. Make sure to repost this and/or @ me so I know what you're making! I'd love to see progress along the way as well :) TLDR: Make a game, $500 in prizes, you've got until the 10th, gotta use Retro Diffusion for the art, it has to be a *new* game, not something you've been working on.

RD Pro Fantasy: "Two wizards battling to the death in a forest" -> RD Pro Edit: "Turn the blue wizard into a video game sprite in an idle pose" -> RD Pro Big Animation: "Make him cast a fireball attack" -> "Make him jump" Really can be that easy to make game sprites :)

Depending on your needs you can reduce cost and increase quality a ton using the "My Styles" feature. Why make one skill icon at a time when you can make 49 all in one shot? It looks better, generates faster, and is over $1 cheaper per set of icons!

The Retro Diffusion "My Styles" feature is crazy for game dev. Remember that hexagonal tile map I was working on? Now I can just type what I want and get them made in the right style and shape for the game :) Castles, trading outposts, bandit camps, and farms. Made in seconds!

You can create your own styles on Retro Diffusion's site now! Zero training required! This is super super powerful, and opens up a ton of doors for niche styles that I couldn't develop on my own, and all you need to do to share them is copy a link!

Awesome method for getting exactly the assets you want from Retro Diffusion: Create a sheet with references of the assets and shape you need (must be a 256x256 image), then drop it into "RD Pro Edit" and describe the new assets you want.

Still working on this style- basically a way to generate items for different themes. Mostly intended to be used inside inventories, so they actually fit inside specific sized grid arrangements. Still tuning it, but aaaaalllmmooost ready!
