@cassbeewrites Ah, yes. The embroidery floss will have picked it up bc that’s synthetic rit dye, not cotton. If the hat was cotton and the thread was polyester, then a rit dye for cotton would be left the thread, but synthetic dye will do the whole lot

It’s looking promising so far!! The embroidery picked up more of the dye than I intended so the whole hat looks monochrome right now, but 1. It’s still wet, so drying it will lighten everything & 2. I had an idea to cast single-strand silver embroidery floss over the letters
