Update: I have now also spoken to Flipkart support. They acknowledged the issue, said it would be forwarded to the concerned team, and assured a callback/update within 24 hours. Awaiting written correction of the incorrect “written-off” reporting in CIBIL.

Update: Both parties have now officially acknowledged my complaint. IDFC FIRST Bank Case ID: 1147547785 Flipkart ID: IN26040413504696921101 Now awaiting a proper written explanation and correction of the incorrect “written-off” reporting in CIBIL. formally on record.

For context: - Payments / refunds exist in the transaction trail - Yet the credit facility was reported as “Written-off” - Complaint already escalated to RBI Ombudsman This needs proper review, not a scripted closure.

This is why every user of Flipkart Pay Later should check: - CIBIL / credit report - whether old refunded / cancelled orders were adjusted properly - whether any account was shown as: - overdue - settled - written off - delinquent Many people may not even know.

What makes this worse: I raised the issue through the proper channel. They were made aware of the reconciliation mismatch. They asked for more time. Then they still reaffirmed the negative reporting. That is a serious consumer issue.

The real problem is this: Even after I raised a formal dispute and gave documented proof, I was not given a transparent reconciliation showing - what exact amount was allegedly unpaid - from which date it became overdue - how refunds / reversals were adjusted - how written off

My issue is NOT just “bad CIBIL”. It is this: - I paid a billed cycle in full - later, one of the major transactions in that cycle was cancelled / refunded - additional cancelled / refunded transactions also existed Yet the account was still reported negatively.
