I told eBay this CLAIM WAS A SCAM. 1. Buyer claimed PSA slab was damaged. It was clearly AI generated. 2. The buyer and ship-to name were different. (every scammer does this) So... They immediately side w/buyer. Guess what buyer sent back? A damaged VHS tape. eBay...maybe the default response should be to trust your larger and most consistent SELLERS instead of a buyer who just opened an account.

@nessneek No I didn't ship it, wasn't supposed to ship yet. Customer emailed Saturday after Thanksgiving asking to cancel than Monday did a chargeback. Chargeback the bank takes the money, charges us a chargeback fee and transaction fee

Well we lost the case, banks 8 me 0. I gave so much details and it even violates the chargeback agreement but yet the bank still sided with the customer.

@BreakerCulture If it passed authentication, eBay will cover the refund. If the authentication failed, you cover the refund and get the card back.

In typical eBay form... the buyer submits a request (as they should)... because the card was shipped poorly from authentication to them. Damaged because of their poor shipping. Guess who gets punished? Yep, you guessed it. Me, the seller. eBay Authentication has been 🗑️
