this is completely on the affected person for paying with a credit card and keeping it attached to their account
they already store minimal info. your invoices dont contain personal info. Just remove card after pay and you're good (or better yet use proton gift card or cash)

I wish the game was less linear, there's basically always exactly one path and no side objectives / optional areas to explore
all the other modern res did this way better
