Genshin Impact players are review bombing HoYoverse’s office on Google Maps because they are unhappy with the rewards in Version 6.6, which gives about 60 to 64 free pulls. Many non-paying players say this is not enough to get a special 5-star character, and they feel free-to-play players get less than in other games like Honkai: Star Rail and Wuthering Waves. The office rating has dropped to 3.1 stars, similar to what happened during the game’s 2021 anniversary.

This is an interesting pattern in IGN reviews. It appears they give better reviews to games that "don't appeal to the male gaze," a term these gaming journos have fabricated. Games for "gentlemen" made for gamers with no political agendas always get worse reviews, apparently. I don’t trust them at all, they seem to inflate scores for games that fit their agendas or that paid them.
