I’m happy to announce that I have joined the advisory board of #HEK (House of Electronic Arts).
I look forward to supporting #SabineHimmelsbach, @wenger_marlene and the HEK team alongside my fellow board members.
HEK (House of Electronic Arts) in Basel is dedicated to digital culture and the new art forms of the Information Age. Since 2011, the institution has been central to the creative and critical discourse on the aesthetic, socio-political and economic effects of media technologies. As a platform for contemporary art that explores and employs new technologies, HEK promotes aesthetic practices related to information technologies.
This not only enables a better comprehension of the changing world we live in, but also serves to actively engage with these processes and confront pressing questions of 21st century culture, while actively contributing to their mediation.
With this, the museum assumes a unique and pioneering position in Switzerland.

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 26, Card 29 - CREMAPEPE. It is a 1/100 card with a floor price of .0032 BTC ($349 USD). The creator of the card is unknown and it was their sole contribution to the Rare Pepe series.
The text on the card makes reference to the practice of burning PEPECASH (which is both a Rare Pepe Card and the de facto currency of the project) as tribute to Lord Kek (also a Rare Pepe card). The string of text beginning with a "1" is a popular burn address (a Bitcoin address with no private key) that people send cards to. The source for the GIF was taken from from the 1973 Mexican surreal-fantasy film entitled "The Holy Mountain".
