Tried fusion mcp on a real project. you talk to @claudeai, it edits your cad model in @adskFusion live. the thing im designing: a small 3d printed piece that sticks to the wall and frames a climbing plant branch as it grows over the wall. think of it as a pebble shaped frame, the plant stays the focus but the piece is well made and complements it. oval bc round versions looked off when the branch passed through asymmetrically. process: 46 iterations across claude and codex over 3 days, vs a few hours of manual work that already got me 70% there. so maybe 30% better design, way more time. the taper press fit idea was in v1. then i spent 19 versions chasing a snap-fit lens that pla just cant do without fatigue cracking, before going back to the friction taper i started with. what worked: reading my old sketches and pulling exact dimensions, generating repetitive lofts at different z heights, talking through fdm stuff in real terms. what didnt: - confused diameter w radius - interference w protrusion - built 0.1mm gaps while telling me they were 0.2. - proposed a bayonet twist lock without noticing the branch through the piece literally cant rotate. - made up pull force numbers, i found out the real ones by printing. conclusion: if you cant sketch yet this unlocks cad for you, real value. if you already can, faster to just do it in the ui. hoping in a year or two it actually codesigns instead of generating reasonable sounding suggestions i have to keep correcting...

Been learning @autodesk for a year and I’m still losing it with sketches. If this actually works and I can just talk my way through a model I’m not going back! Will test it soon…

@Hiraweb3 @claudeai @adskFusion talking part is great, the listening part needs work still, and the token usage especially for claude is excessive for now

The #Bitcoin 4-year cycle is something from the past. We've seen an ATH prior to the halving. Yes, Bitcoin has made a new ATH in Dollars, but how much value does that hold? Did 2025 feel like it was a bull market year? Not at all, quite the opposite actually. If you resonate it more like: Bitcoin has peaked in December '24 against Gold, and started a strong bear market year since then, then the arguments are lining up perfectly. - Strong bear market year for #Altcoins - Strong bear market year for Bitcoin vs. Gold --> lots of irritation that Bitcoin wasn't moving along Gold. This has also lowered the overall upside for the previous year, which then means that the downside can be less too. In that light, it's very likely that we won't be seeing the similar patterns of the 4-year cycles anymore, especially not if there's a $100K breach this year already.

average rent is around $3k. you’re “supposed” to make 3x that… so about $9k a month, $108k a year. meanwhile the average salary in the U.S. is like $51k. yeah… the math just isn’t mathing.

This will probably be my last post here. Sometimes you need to make tough decisions in order to improve your situation, and I feel like shutting down this account will help me move past what has been an at times exciting ride but more recently proven to be an unproductive distraction. When I take stock of my life at the moment -- how I'm spending my time and how it contributes to my well-being and overall happiness -- it's very clear that, at almost 50 years old, leaking phones and posting wallpapers are completely quixotic pursuits. If I can't afford an important prescription, or even the transportation to pick up those meds, WTF am I doing spending hours on upscaling thousands of wallpapers? I need to reprioritize, and abandoning the compulsion to curate whatever reputation I've made for myself, is the first step. This account has been active since 2012, and I've been leaking phones since 2009. That's a long time for someone with a chronic condition to eschew steady income, and now I need to try to start picking up the pieces. However, just because this feed will disappear doesn't mean that I will. Whatever social media itches I have will get scratched on IG instead ([@]EvanBlass - which also happens to be my PayPal and Venmo, in case anyone want to make final donations.) Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed to this pursuit over the years - with your opinions, your advice, your humor, and your insights. It's been an honor leaking for you.

Telling people that you’re going to win together so they prop you up to win more is intellectually dishonest Support genuine people but being tone deaf falsifying narratives that everyone will win together and equally is wrong There’s a reason why peopled stopped with wagmi

I really like those 2.5D characters here's my Seedance2 prompt: MANGA READER TURNAROUND CHARACTER: Young Japanese man sitting cross-legged on the floor reading a colorful manga magazine, spiky messy black hair sticking up in chunky angular shapes, thick eyebrows, small round glasses, slight stubble, cross pendant necklace on a thin chain, wearing a loose open dark navy pinstripe yukata robe showing his chest, bare feet tucked under his legs, small ceramic ashtray with cigarette butts on the floor to his left, round ceramic pot to his right, focused slightly annoyed expression looking down at the magazine. 3D CG model with 2D hand-drawn overlay, scribble hatching in all shadow areas boiling every frame, thick ink outlines on silhouette edges redrawing with wobble, flat painted color textures on 3D geometry, color bleeding outside contour lines. SEQUENCE [0s–5s] Character sits cross-legged holding the manga open in both hands, not moving, just reading. Camera begins a smooth continuous 360 degree orbit around him at his eye level. As the camera moves from front to three-quarter to side profile, the 3D model rotates cleanly revealing his full volume but the 2D ink layer on top lives and breathes, scribble hatching in the shadows under his jaw and inside the yukata folds and between his crossed legs redraws every frame with jittery boiling energy, thick ink outlines on his silhouette wobble and shift in thickness as the angle changes, the flat painted navy yukata wraps around his torso showing new pinstripe ink lines and fold marks at each new angle, his spiky hair reveals its 3D chunky volume from new angles, the manga magazine pages catch the light differently as the camera passes, cigarette smoke curls upward as loose scribbled white lines drifting gently [5s–10s] Camera continues the smooth unbroken orbit past his side revealing the cross necklace hanging from his neck in profile, through his back showing the yukata fabric draped across his shoulders and the spiky hair from behind, past his left side and returning to front, the entire rotation fluid and steady, throughout the full 360 the boiling ink outlines never stop trembling on every edge, the scribble hatching in shadows keeps redrawing in slightly different positions each frame giving the whole image a living sketchbook vibration even though he holds perfectly still reading, the flat painted color planes on his skin shift between warm peach and darker shadow tones as new surfaces catch the light, the ashtray and ceramic pot on the floor rotate into and out of view naturally, white background STYLE: 2.5D painterly CG. 3D CG geometry underneath for volume and smooth rotation. 2D Grease Pencil layer on top, thick wobbly ink outlines, scribble hatching in all shadows boiling every frame, flat painted color planes not smooth gradients. No photorealism. No smooth CG rendering. Muted palette dark navy warm peach black white. Film grain. Clean white background. Smooth continuous camera orbit.
