Earlier this week in Belgium in the Haller Forest the bluebells were in full bloom. Light and darkness, fresh green and a nice blanket of fog made the atmosphere so dreamy.

My favorite anecdote along these lines is about Samuel Howe, who volunteered as a medic in the Greek War while only knowing Ancient Greek and who claimed that the first words in modern Greek he learned were "What a beautiful boy!" because he heard it from the men constantly.
